Michael Almeter, W4MJA is a resident of Marietta GA and holds and Extra Class Amateur Radio license.
He carried a 3.0 grade point average and won the World History Award. He served as Manager of the football and track teams while sending time volunteering with Horizon Charity and the Soup Bowl Kitchen.
Almeter has earned both DXCC and WAS while serving as net control for community events. He operates CW at 25 wpm.
He has found the true excitement of tapping out a CQ at 3AM in CW and being answered by rare DX.
He will attend the University of Nevada, Las Vegas to pursue a career in the hotel/casino industry
